Overview
My website Change of Scene is a platform I created to help ACU Melbourne students find the best study spots around campus. I’ve set up the main structure already, including a Study Spot Map, a Study Spots Gallery, and a Recommend-a-Spot page, so the foundation and purpose of the site are clear. The homepage explains what the website is about, and I’ve built a simple navigation system with consistent branding to give it its own identity. Most of the core framework and idea development is done.
Now I’m working on developing the content and making the site more detailed. I still need to add real study spots with proper descriptions, photos, noise levels, plug availability, and opening hours to make the site actually useful for students. The visuals on the homepage are still placeholders, so I plan to replace them with real images from cafés, libraries, and other areas around ACU. I also want to improve the map and gallery by adding filters and categories, and make the site feel smoother on mobile. Once I strengthen the content, user experience, and SEO, the website will be a fully polished and practical resource for students looking for good spaces to study.
